El nuevo estilo de vida de los peruanos, los ha forzado a reducir su consumo, ya sea por no comprar en tiendas f\u00edsicas o por la reducci\u00f3n de ocasiones de uso. De acuerdo con Euromonitor International, la moda habr\u00eda cerrado el 2020 con un retroceso del 15,7% a escala mundial, con p\u00e9rdidas de hasta 1,19 billones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p>Realizar todas las actividades diarias dentro de casa, ha motivado a los consumidores a ver la moda desde otra perspectiva; ahora se busca en las marcas tres atributos fundamentales: comodidad, sostenibilidad y bajo precio. Si bien el sector se ha transformado en tiempo r\u00e9cord para adaptarse a este nuevo entorno, el comportamiento de los consumidores permanece conservador, por lo que una alternativa para las marcas es desarrollar estrategias de precios para mantener competitividad.<\/p>\n<p>La importancia de las temporadas de rebajas tambi\u00e9n ha perdido relevancia, ahora hay promociones continuas, lo que ha creado una gesti\u00f3n de inventarios mucho m\u00e1s eficiente, que permita predecir la evoluci\u00f3n de la demanda para poder organizar sus producciones.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien antes de la pandemia en el sector hab\u00eda una tendencia a\u00a0\u2018sobreestockearse\u2019, ahora se ha pasado a gestionar niveles bajos de producci\u00f3n, por lo que mejorar la cadena de suministro, resulta fundamental para reaccionar mejor y m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido a los problemas de abastecimiento que suponen los cambios bruscos y paralizaciones a causa de las nuevas medidas de prevenci\u00f3n. Esto afecta tanto a los formatos modernos como a los tradicionales, como ha sucedido con el cierre temporal del emporio comercial de Gamarra.<\/p>\n<p>No solo las restricciones sanitarias influyen en la compra de prendas de vestir. Una tendencia en los consumidores, ante la coyuntura, es un mayor compromiso con el medio ambiente, por lo que un replanteamiento de las temporadas no es suficiente. Se necesita mayor compromiso de parte de las empresas, mirar al interior y buscar la sostenibilidad no solo en los insumos, sino tambi\u00e9n en los procesos.<\/p>\n<p>La integraci\u00f3n de los canales online y offline, junto a la inversi\u00f3n en tecnolog\u00eda para la digitalizaci\u00f3n, son dos tendencias que se han acelerado.
