Sin embargo, el Showrooming aparece para el sector retail como una posible amenaza. Esta nueva forma de comprar consiste en visitar una tienda f\u00edsica para ver y probar el producto, pero al mismo tiempo, buscarlo al mejor precio por internet para efectuar la compra online.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de los ejemplos cl\u00e1sicos de showrooming es la batalla entre Amazon y Best Buy, el principal retailer de tecnolog\u00eda en EEUU. Los consumidores suelen recorrer las tiendas de Best Buy mientras comparan los precios con los de Amazon a trav\u00e9s sus tel\u00e9fonos. Este comportamiento se presenta en las compras retail de pr\u00e1cticamente todas las categor\u00edas existentes, ya sea de electrodom\u00e9sticos, deportes, comestibles, juguetes, tecnolog\u00eda, art\u00edculos para el hogar, etc. Esto ocurre ya que el uso de los canales virtuales, la disponibilidad de medios de pago y la log\u00edstica de despacho est\u00e1n en una etapa de madurez en dicho pa\u00eds. Amazon ha entendido este comportamiento de tal forma que ha desarrollado maneras de promoverlo, a trav\u00e9s de la app Price Check y su tel\u00e9fono FirePhone. Aunque este \u00faltimo no tuvo el \u00e9xito esperado.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan cifras de la Sociedad de Comercio Exterior (Comex\u2013Per\u00fa), el comercio electr\u00f3nico en Per\u00fa habr\u00eda alcanzado un crecimiento del 47% desde 2013 hasta el cierre de 2018. Este importante desarrollo del comercio electr\u00f3nico y el gran auge de las aplicaciones m\u00f3viles han motivado a los retailers a replantear sus estrategias de venta.<\/p>\n<p>En Per\u00fa ya las principales tiendas por departamento han desarrollado su plataforma de venta en l\u00ednea. Igualmente, poseen m\u00f3dulos de asistencia (pantallas t\u00e1ctiles, monitores, etc.) en las tiendas f\u00edsicas que permiten la b\u00fasqueda de art\u00edculos y productos que no est\u00e1n stock en el lugar, o ampliaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n para cerrar la compra. Estas tiendas virtuales tienen cat\u00e1logos de productos m\u00e1s amplios que los que se encuentran en tienda.<\/p>\n<p>El comportamiento del consumidor en las tiendas f\u00edsicas est\u00e1 cambiando, esta es una realidad. Seg\u00fan el Interactive Advertising Bureau Per\u00fa\u00a0(IAB), los compradores online se dividen en cuatro categor\u00edas. En primer lugar, se encuentra el \u201conline exclusivo\u201d (18%), es el nativo digital que observa, compra y paga por internet. En segundo lugar, el \u201conline precavido\u201d (4%), ya que observa y compra online, pero decide pagar en el establecimiento y, finalmente, el \u201cmigrante offline\u201d (21%), que visualiza lo que quiere comprar a trav\u00e9s de un establecimiento f\u00edsico, pero decide realizar la compra y el pago online.<\/p>\n<p>Es precisamente este \u00faltimo, \u201cmigrante online\u201d, al que nos referimos como showroomer, aquel cliente que busca rese\u00f1as del producto en internet y compara precios en diferentes tiendas online para finalmente comprar al mejor precio.<\/p>\n<p>En ese sentido, es importante reconocer dentro de esta pr\u00e1ctica una oportunidad para el sector retail, ya que adem\u00e1s de aumentar el tr\u00e1fico de consumidores a la tienda, existen muchas posibilidades de que compre el producto en un canal f\u00edsico si encuentra un buen precio o una excepcional atenci\u00f3n, pues esta \u00faltima es un intangible muy valorado que no obtiene en el canal online.<\/p>\n<p>Los retailers deben contemplar el trabajo bajo la combinaci\u00f3n de una estrategia corporativa e inteligencia emocional que les permita entablar una buena relaci\u00f3n con los consumidores. S\u00f3lo de esta manera se lograr\u00e1 que las ventas aumenten, captando la atenci\u00f3n del showroomer para motivarlo a la compra dentro del establecimiento.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, la estrategia m\u00e1s importante para este canal de ventas es el centrarse en las personas, pero no solo en los consumidores, sino en los encargados de brindar la atenci\u00f3n al p\u00fablico, estos \u00faltimos son el motor del retail, los \u00fanicos que pueden lograr el cierre de una venta.
